Our family holiday was the same old, a retreat to Currarong with our family friends. Currarong is a fantastic place. At least a 20 minute drive from any other human settlement (from the direction of Nowra, the closest settlement is a stall in the middle of nowhere for selling peaches). I am back from NTE, or the National Training Event - a huge nationwide conference of Evangelical uni students in Canberra, followed up by a week of mission with a church somewhere in your home city. Last week's field trip turned out ok after all. It was nice hanging with Bel and Karen, and building other friendships, and meeting new people. The actual fieldwork left a bit to be desired. Gundagai was fantastic. I love driving for hours with Sarah, and I loved driving through rain, especially seeing as it hasn't rained on the other side of the mountains in ages. We had such a great time doing sweet nothing. Kylie's family is awesome, they play cool music through their house and they are so friendly and godly.
